Arsenyev Museum to Screen Silent Films
VLADIVOSTOK. May 28. VOSTOK-MEDIA – The Arsenyev State Museum is inviting the public to attend the screenings silent movies, held as part of arts-and-education project “Cinemateque”.
Today, silent movie enthusiasts will have a chance to view “Knockout” (1914), “The Hayseed” (1919), “Love” (1919), starring Roscoe Arbuckle, a famous American actor.
Arbuckle worked with such silent film comedians of 20th century as Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, Mack Swain, Al St. John. The films will be accompanied by remarkable live musical performance by Merited Artist of the Russian Federation Leonid Bukin.
The screenings begin at 6:30pm.
