Russia has already carried out testing of new chips for electronic passports

VLADIVOSTOK. May 27. VOSTOK MEDIA - In the near future may appear online documents, replacing an internal passport, social card, as well as the medical records of citizens of Russia.At an expanded meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Communications, Acting Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said that in the near future Russia may introduce a system of electronic documents. Thus, it is expected that electronic documents will replace the internal passport, as well as medical and social maps of the countrys citizens. In addition, it is planned that a document is created for immigrants entering the country.
