Beijing 2008 Olympics Will be Broadcasted in the Internet

A respective agreement was signed in Beijing.
The social network MySpace and China’s most popular video hosting site Tudou.com have obtained rights for online broadcasting of the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing. The respective agreement was signed with the China Central Television (CCTV), Cybersecurity.ru reports.
The conditions of broadcasting as well as sums of money that were paid for the right of broadcasting are kept in secret.
According to the agreement, the on-line broadcasting from CCTV will be available only in the Chinese Internet. The alternative Internet resources will be provided only in the form of recordings and podcasts.
