Primorye Prepares to Stage Dalargo Trade Show

VLADIVOSTOK. March 29. VOSTOK-MEDIA – The 14th Annual Dalargo Trade Show takes place in Primorsky Krai on April 14 through 16.

So far, around 50 companies have entered for the event; 50 more are expected to join the list of participants.

Organizers of the trade fair include Primorsky Krai Agriculture Department and Dalexpocenter OOO. Since 2005 the event is held under the auspices of Russia’s Ministry of Agriculture.

A spokesman for Primorsky Krai Agriculture Department said companies from Primorsky Krai, Khabarovsk Krai, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Amur Oblast, Orenburg Oblast, Moscow, Chita, Magadan, Cheboksary, Belogorsk, Irkutsk, Birobidzhan, Samara and Novosibirsk are preparing to participate in the event.

Among foreign participants invited to Dalargo are companies from France, China, and delegations from North Korea.

Traditionally, food products, fertilizers, crop-protecting agents, seeds and nursery plants will be exhibited at the trade fair. In addition, the event will be divided into four sections – label, packaging, container and marking.

Organizers have already drawn up business program, determined themes of workshops and roundtable discussions. On the first day of the trade fair, participants will hold talks on issues of development and support of entrepreneurship in Primorsky Krai and cooperation between agricultural companies and retail chains.

On the second day of the event, the following workshops will be held: “Pressing issues of Safety of Food Stock and Food Products”, “Increasing Competitive Advantage of a Product through Creative Packaging Solutions”, “Our Second Bread: Potato”, “Experience and Perspectives for Horticulture in Primorsky Krai.”

The event will also feature Best Product contest, Visitor’s Choice Award, Best Exhibition Stand and Best Package contests.
