Britain Reporters “Passes” one of Kuril Islands over to Japan
Newspaper agreed to publish correction only after intervention by RF Consulate
VLADIVOSTOK. June 29. VOSTOK-MEDIA – The British newspaper Daily Telegraph has already apologized to its readers. On the previous day the paper published a space photograph showing volcano eruption and labeled Matua island belonging to Russia as Japanese one.
The newspaper has agreed to publish the correction only after intervention by RF Embassy in Great Britain, reported radio station Russkaia Sluzhba Novostei.
