Differences in legislation of Russia and Malaysia are not drawbacks for development of bilateral trade

VLADIVOSTOK. 27 September. VOSTOK-MEDIA. Differences in legislation of both countries, Russia and Malaysia, are not drawbacks for trade relations development, said Chairperson of Appeal Court of Malaysia, Mr. Zakri Tun Azmi.

“Malaysia’s judicial system is totally different from Russia’s system but, nevertheless, we can trade with each other. Trade is the way of communication in the whole world. We may happen not to know law and culture of another country but trade with this country. Today trade is becoming global and everybody has to learn how to understand others. That is why our delegation has come to participate at the Asian-Pacific Countries Forum “Judicial and Economic Aspects of International Trade Development”, - said Chairperson of Appeal Court of Malaysia.

To his mind, Vladivostok has become a more important port in the Asian-Pacific Region than before.

“I am in Vladivostok for the first time and it seems to me a very beautiful city. We know the Russian Governments decision to make Vladivostok one of the international centres in the APR. We hope it will happen very soon”, - said Mr. Zakri Tun Azmi.
