“Roots of Life” to Everyone

VLADIVOSTOK. 29 October. VOSTOK-MEDIA. In Kraskino custom officers arrested a pack of jeng sang recently dug out. An owner of the pack said that he was given it at the station by a stranger who explained how to use jeng sang roots to improve health.
Jeng-sang is under international protection of the Convention on International Trade of Endangered Species of Flora and Fauna. Role of the Russian custom is that officers must prevent illegal transportation of endangered species of flora and fauna. Sanctions are 1.5 or double price of the smuggled stuff. A price is clarified by a special committee.
