Russia Calls Upon United Nations against Heroization of Nazism

MOSCOW. April 30. VOSTOK MEDIA – Russia calls upon the UN and its member states to undertake measures against the attempts of heroization of Nazism and destruction of memorials to soldiers-liberators. It was said by the representative of Russia Maria Zakharova at the session of the UN Committee of Information.
Russia repeatedly criticized authorities of a number of countries for the actions that contributed to heroization of fascism and condemned the “war with memorials” to soldiers-liberators.
We remind, in late April of 2007 a memorial to soldiers of the Soviet army, who died liberating Estonia from Nazis during the Great Patriotic War, was uninstalled.
