Russia Towns Appear in China

VLADIVOSTOK. March 31. VOSTOK MEDIA – In recent years Russians have been actively buying dwelling in China. Russia towns have emerged and are now developing in border cities of China, the Trud newspaper reports.
Prices for shelter in Vladivostok make purchasing an apartment impossible for many of the city dwellers. The price for a square meter in a new block of flats exceed $3 000 when in the border city of Suinfenhe the same square meter costs almost eight times cheaper – $400. Evident benefits make citizens of the Primorsky Krai sell their apartment at home and buy it in China.
China is not afraid of the Russian expansion and is ready to receive immigrants. The construction of a new housing complex has recently been launched in Suifenhe. Six 30-storey skyscrapers near the forest area and an artificial lake shall be built for just a year and a half. The cost of housing and public utilities will account for $0.1 (about 3 rubles) per a square meter a month.
Russians move not only to the border cities of China. At the resorts of the Yellow sea one can easily meet former dwellers of Moscow, Novosibirsk, Rostov already considering themselves local residents.
