In Khabarovsk noisy neighbors will pay heavy fines

Enforcement and citizens' complaints caused increase of fines for disturbing the peace and obsessive harassment in the Khabarovsk Territory. The relevant law has already received the deputies of the regional Legislative Duma. In addition to increasing the size of the monetary penalty, are now excluded this kind of punishment as a warning.

Under the new law, ordinary people will have to pay from 2 to 4 thousand rubles for breach of peace of citizens living at home or in dormitories from 22:00 to 10:00 local time on weekends and holidays from 22:00 to 7:00 on weekdays. The officials will be punished in the amount of from 5 to 10 thousand, and legal - from 10 to 15 thousand. More sanctions are waiting for repeated incidents. It is reported by the press service of the Khabarovsk Territory legislature.

Also responsibility of beggars or religious activists for violation of public order expressed in compulsive molesting citizens is increased. Such acts are punishable by a fine of 2 to 4 thousand rubles. The same sanction awaits obsessive sellers of various goods and services, provided that they adhere to the people outside the places for trade, and fortune-tellers.

"The changes to the Code of Khabarovsk Territory on administrative offenses were necessary because the increasing number of violations to respect the peace and quiet and an increase of complaints about this. Warnings and easy penalties do not help. Regional parliament agreed that we need more stringent measures of administrative responsibility, and this is reflected in the new law, "- said the chairman of the Committee of legality, law and order and public security in the Legislative Duma of the Khabarovsk Territory Yuri Minaev.
