MOSCOW. 10 September. VOSTOK-MEDIA. Russian Gosudarstvennaya Duma is brought in a bill aimed at young population prevented from “energy” drinks and beer. Bill defends “morality and health of people, first of all, non-adults".
If the bill passes distribution of alcohol cocktails, beer and “energy” drinks near schools, hospitals, sports and cultural institutions will be banned. According to authors of the bill, young people in Russia try beer for the first time being 12-13 years old; by 24 years old as many as 70% costantly consumes alcohol.
Ministry of Health Service Statistics says that quantity of alcohol-dependent young people under 18 for last 17 years has increased from 6.3 thousand to 20 thousand people. And every year this number is rising up.
