The route goes from Skovorodino (Amur Oblast) to Kozmino Bay (Primorsky Krai).

The Kozmino Bay on the south of the Primorsky Krai has recently been officially approved as the final point of the East Siberia-Pacific Ocean oil pipeline (VSTO – its Russian acronym). The respective decree was signed by the Prime Minister of Russia Victor Zubkov, Vostok Media reports.
Thus the VSTO route beginning in Taishet City (Irkutsk Oblast) goes through Skovorodino (Amur Obalst) and will finish in Kozmina bay near Nakhodka City (Primorsky Krai).
Head of the VSTO project management center Sergey Sergeyev stressed that detailed research of the project showed that the pipeline will be commissioned in 2013-2014.
Sergeyev assured that Transneft that constructs the huge project pays enough attention to the environmental issues. The pipeline will go far from the reserved areas and objects of the archeological and cultural value. The pipeline will be equipped with facilities for prevention and elimination of oil spills.
