The Tigers Came to the Seashore in Primorskiy Krai

VLADIVOSTOK. March 18. VOSTOK-MEDIA – One more little tiger came to the territory of Preobrazhenie village in addition to the three animals that appeared there recently. Though, judging by the prints left, its mother roamed around there. It is likely that they came from Kievka river-valley.
The natives saw the little beast for several times. According to the data collected the animal was born last spring. Some of them even tried to take picture of the beast but it hid.
Children brought some food to tiger but the meal remained untouched. This implies that the tiger was not hungry. It seems like at the present time the little tiger and its mother returned to the forest.
In regard to the three tigers that were roaming in vicinity of Preobrazhenie month ago, it is now known for certain that initially the animals were dwelling together with their mother near the Olenevod bay. And when they grew a bit then they came to people without their mother. When people started notice prints of the animals the dogs began disappear. The locals turned anxious about the matter. The reserve area specialists had to scare the tigers away from residential area. And now they are living far from people.
According to the specialists the abundance of these young predators indicates that the situation in regard to the food potential of Ussuriisk taiga improved.
