Primorsky Krai Accommodates 500 Chinese Pupils

VLADIVOSTOK. July 23. VOSTOK-MEDIA – Primorsky Krai-based All-Russian Children Center “Ocean” is ready to accommodate 500 Chinese pupils. This was discussed at the interdepartmental conference on organization of a mixed international session. Yuri Senturin, Deputy of Education and Science Minister took part in the discussion.
According to the speaker of the ministry, the fact that the report delivered by the heads of different agencies was succinct supports the statement that all necessary arrangements for accommodating Chinese pupils have been carrying out at a high level and at present time is under completion. Primorsky Krai has an extensive experience in providing accommodation to such a numerous children’s delegation, stressed the Deputy Minister. “Primorsky Krai has dealt successfully with such a serious task last year. And the feedback we have been receiving from those Chinese children who had a luck to stay in Ocean Summer Camp proves the statement. Detailed interdepartmental coordination of security agencies, healthcare professionals, pedagogues and educators provided security and comfort for children in the camp. I am confident that the standard that was set last year will be maintained.”
The representatives of Chinese Consulate in Russia gave a high appreciation of preparatory arrangements made by Primorsky Krai administration and federal agencies. They expressed confidence that this year the children will get proper rest and a have plenty of pleasant impressions and experiences in the territory of Primorsky Krai.
In June this year, during his meeting with RF President Dmitry Medvedev, Hu Jintao, President of Peoples Republic of China invited one thousand Russian children to spend their summer vacation in China. According to the leader of the neighbor country, this move serves as a response to the assistance kindly rendered by Russian authorities, who have been inviting for two years children residing in the earthquaked Sichuan province to stay in the best children’s camps of the country for recreation and rehabilitation purposes.
