VLADIVOSTOK. September 14. VOSTOK-MEDIA – A French singer and actress Patricia Kaas arrives in the capital of Primorsky Krai to give a concert.
Patricia Kaas got a special appeal in the hearts of the Russian audience a way back in the late 80s, when such hits as Mademoiselle chante le blues and Mon mec à moi could be heard from the first music stands. Unlike many quickly forgotten stars of the post-Soviet Era the love of the Russian audience for Patricia has survived the test of time. The singers big-time would not come until 2008 after she had released scores of super hits and given a dozen of sell-out concerts.
Kabaret is her first studio album in five years after her best-selling Sexe Fort. The new album features romance with lyrics from Marina Tsvetaeva ‘s I Like The Fact That You’re Not Mad About Me, performed in both Russian and French languages. The release was supported by a world tour covering 27 largest Russian cities, including Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Moscow and St. Petersburg. The spectacular show is expected to be a tremendously impressive one, reported Fesco-Hall civic center.
Not the least important is that Patricias fans will be able to see in her an actress as well as a singer that is a myriad of characters with invariable style and grace. She will play a character in the spectacular show Kabaret which is to take place in Fesco-Hall on October 23.
