The Khabarovsk economy will return to the path of development

In the first months of 2015 the government of the Khabarovsk Territory worked in the format of the anti-crisis and stabilization measures. The consequences of the crisis for a number of parameters had appeared more serious than the regional government had expected. But in conjunction with the federal government they equalize the situation, said Economic Development Minister Viktor Kalashnikov during parliamentary hearings in the Legislative Duma of Khabarovsk Territory.

"At first we thought that would be enough to rely on the experience of the 2009 crisis, and act according to that dynamic. Nevertheless, further forecasts were much more pessimistic, especially in terms of the index of production, unemployment, real income and turnover, "- said the official.

According to the ministry of the Economic Development, in the middle of the year some of the worst fears were realized almost 100 %. DJIA in January-June decreased by 2.5 %, real wages fell by almost 10 %. Expectations for unemployment have not come true - in contrast to the reality of 2009, this time the labor market, on the contrary, showed the tension. The sharp decline in retail trade turnover are not recorded, the industry was able to display the results exceeding last year's figures.

"It is no secret that in today's financial and economic situation in Khabarovsk Territory, in conditions of external action, sanctions, further development of the region is a critical issue for legislators and for the state power and local self-government. We do not live in a vacuum, and to feel the effects of all processes that occur in our region ", - said the first deputy chairman of the Legislative Duma of Khabarovsk Territory Sergei Lugovskoy.

He recalled that the development of the Russian Far East is a priority of the Russian authorities. The first person in the country have repeatedly talked about this. Thus, strategic planning remains the most important parameter of life in the region, which is caused by the adoption of laws aimed at its improvement.

Viktor Kalashnikov added that, despite the relative successes there is a lot of problems in the region's economy. There remains a general decline in corporate lending, corporate income falls even amid growing turnover. With the decline of incomes of the population are planning to fight by the restoration of the important enterprises, conservation and enhancement of jobs. The first signs of improvement in the regional authorities is expected in December of this year.
