American Jazzmen for Russian Children

VLADIVOSTOK. 13 November. VOSTOK-MEDIA. American guests, quartet of Alvin Atkinson, will perform at the V International jazz concert in Vladivostok and charitable soiree for orphans. This soiree takes place in the night club “Okno” on Saturday, November, 15 at 24.00.
Alvin Atkinson and his jazzmen have accepted an invitation with excitement. According to Bridget Gersten, Consul on press, culture and education in the Consulate General of Vladivostok, charitable soirees are very popular in the USA especially on the Christmas Eve. She thinks, that show in the club “Okno” is the great opportunity to get introduced to a new kind of jazz, given that people can not only eat and have fun but dance in the club jazz which is different from the concert performance. Alvin Atkinson & The Sound of Merchants Featuring Solomon Dorsey are preparing a special program.
The goal of a charitable soiree is prepare gifts for orphans. That is why all guests in the club should comply with a simple rule: have a soft toy.
